Three's Company

...6.22.11...day 8...

Today I got together with some very old friends. Alisha, Angela and I - we've been friends since the 5th grade.  We grew up together, learned about life together, and have seen each other through a lot.  Today I keep thinking about this picture I have of the three of us in 5th or 6th grade, playing our instruments at a school concert (oboe, flute, and clarinet) and I wish I had it digitally to share in honor of this post.  We look so proud, so innocent, and so, um well, to tell you the truth, dorky. At least some things haven't changed. I'm so glad that, although we live far apart, our children can see each other occasionally and be a part of each other's lives.

Luke was fascinated when Emma showed up. He hasn't seen her since she was 2 months old. He kept staring at her and giggling, as if to say, who is that California cutie?

Luke (16 months), Matthew (5 months), and Emma (9 months).  Is it easy to tell who's kid is who's??
