Luke enjoyed a fun morning at the mall play area with Logan.

Please don't anyone tell these boys that you're actually supposed to put money in the cars to make them move.  They enjoy them just as much stationary (and free) and we'd like to keep it that way!

...wednesday, october 19, 2011...day 127...

Luke and I spent a long morning at the gym, made much longer because Luke spent about a half out in the gymnasium playing with every different kind of ball.  Every time we go to the gym, Luke begs me to let him play with the "beeballs" (by which he actually means footballs, not basketballs or baseballs) and today I finally said okay. The attendant was very friendly and let Luke play with a soccer ball, a football, a basketball, a volleyball, and various kickballs.  He also brought the basket down low for Luke and helped him shoot some hoops.

Apparently cute kids can pretty much get whatever they want.

...tuesday, october 18, 2011...day 126...

Every morning when little Matthew comes to our house, Luke immediately gets on all fours and starts crawling around the house with him (there's a good picture of it in this blog post). Well today, when I laid infant Mason on the floor, Luke decided he wanted to copy him, too, and immediately laid down next to him.

This didn't last long. I guess laying still is a rather boring activity for a toddler.

Applesauce in the Making

...monday, october 17, 2011...day 125...

Luke was so excited to help me make applesauce today.  He kept saying, "apple" over and over (like maybe 100 times or so).

It turned out so yummy that he had to eat it with two spoons at a time!

...friday, october 14, 2011...day 122...

We were driving across town this afternoon, and while the sun was shining brightly from the west, dark storm clouds were congregating in the east.  It was weird. and beautiful too.
