Luke and Matthew had a lunch date today at our favorite restaurant, Real Food Cafe. Our waitress commented on how big Luke looks to her, and how fun its been to watch him grow up.  It made me wonder if perhaps we go there a tad too often....

You will not believe the fond looks people give you when you're pushing a double stroller with these too cuties in tow.

It began with an obsession with sports balls, and has moved on to an obsession with cars and trains. Thus Luke continues to fill the typical boy stereotypes - and I swear my parenting has nothing to do with it!

This fabulous train set came from Grandpa D's basement.  I was planning on saving it for Christmas, but as it came to me a clear container, Luke spotted the trains immediately and began pleading with me to take them out of the box. I finally caved and we have had nothing but trains, trains, and more trains ever since.

We spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon today at the park with friends.

Our little friend Logan has the best after-slide hair I've ever seen :)

Sam's been working hard on finishing our basement almost every day, and today was no exception.  He must have set his hat and tape measure down for a second, because before we knew it Luke was trying them both out.

Update: I found this picture of Sam from the summer of 1985. I think this is the picture Grandma W was remembering. Sam would have been a little younger than Luke is now.

I went for a lovely walk to the grocery store with Luke this afternoon.  Luke was whining while we were checking out, so I let him hold a cheese packet and carry it back to our house.  When we got home, this is what I found, that little stinker. No wonder he was quiet the whole way home.

I have no idea where the rest of the plastic wrapping is....
